Lo, all our pomp of yesterday
Is one with Nineveh and Tyre!

1) Reunions have ended for this year., one of the smoothest ever. Physically, and unusually, I don’t feel like a broken-down old nag at the end of all this activity - but I’m still wiped out. Emotionally, I’ll confess I’m all over the place.
An award in the spotlight at the Commencement Luncheon.
2) This year, among other things, I got to meet an astronaut, call the campus police, help run audio-visual for three programs, wear seersucker, learn new features of a software program under pressure, enjoy the weather, and be reminded on many occasions how talented and awesome my colleagues are.
One of my 60th reunion alumni dancing with the ballroom dance team.
3) Pops has been my particular program since 2007, and this year, finalmente, I got to have a couple minute’s conversation with the maestro after the (fantastic) performance (see above). I do love getting to work on Pops!
Ready for the red tide.
3a) The more logistical aspect of working on Pops is running the box office, and because of a busing change directing most attendees to another entrance, this year was much less chaotic than usual. That said, we always get compliments from the staff at the Hall for how well we run our operation. :-)
4) My 50th co-chairs have been wonderful to work with this year, and I was really glad we got to have a photo together this morning near the end of their brunch.
