1) Well, today can be defined as a good day since I got my column posted before 11 AM. It seems to be getting a lot of attention on ye Fycebykke. Say, you you like it, why not share it with your network? ‘Cause wouldn’t it be a lot of fun if I got to do a lot more of these etiquette dinners?
2) Ye yTynes simply will not play new movies or new podcast episodes for some reason. I’ve spent part of the day enjoying a couple favorites from the early 1940s while keeping house: A Woman’s Face with Joan Crawford and Conrad Veidt (!) and my beloved Across the Pacific with much of the cast of The Maltese Falcon.
3) I am cruelly behind in responding to all the wonderful condolences that have come in. Today I remembered that I had some elderly blank professional stationery in the pantry, from the time when God was a boy and the internet wasn’t the only way to apply for a job. It will certainly come in handy now!
